Captivating, Soulful, and HOT are just a few of the words that describe Sax man, and Vocalist Tom Charles! Audiences are absolutely amazed at the energy and presence that Tom delivers performance after performance, and they keep coming back for more.

Tom honed his talent through years of private study on the saxophone, and clarinet from former big band leader George Doddy. After tireless dedication, and the realization that his vocal abilities were equal to his sax playing…Tom hit the road.

He worked all the major shore points along the eastern seaboard as a front man, saxophonist, and vocalist performing with various bands. Quickly gaining recognition, he was picked up by Caesar’s World Resorts in the Pocono’s and Atlantic City. It didn’t take long for the other major resorts to see what Caesar’s saw in Tom, and he performed at almost every resort in the Pocono’s with various bands as their front man.

As a show band leader and front man extraordinaire, Tom was contracted as the warm up act for some of the biggest names in entertainment for the time. He opened for artists like, Gloria Gaynor (“I Will Survive”), The Tramps (“Disco Inferno”), Three Dog Night (“One”, “Joy To The World” and numerous other hits), as well as various other headline entertainers.

Tom eventually made his way down to Naples Florida, where he still performs every season to this day. During the summer months, he still performs at the major hot spots in the Pocono’s, Lake Winnipesauke, New Hampshire, or the white mountains of Vermont.

Tom is truly a dynamic saxophonist, vocalist, and entertainer, and is highly respected amongst his peers, and always welcomed back wherever he performs. Once you see him, hear him, and experience the soulful sounds of Tom Charles, he will quickly become one of your favorite entertainers.
